On the occasion of third edition of the China Awards Ceremony, organized by Italy China Foundation, and held in Milan, Italy on November 27th, FIAMM SPA has been honoured with the “Top Investors” award for the Financial & People investment it has made within the Peoples Republic of China.
Today, at the the Equip´Auto show, FIAMM, Europe´s leading starter battery manufacturer is presenting its new Cyclop SP Car range. Based on innovative technology, the Cyclop SP Car is able to deliver long life and top performance both at the same time. These starter batteries have in fact been specially developed by the FIAMM laboratories to satisfy the increased demand of modern-day cars for energy, and to fulfil the more exacting requirements of the car manufacturers who fit them as original equipment on their top models.

The turnover of Fiamm´s businesses amounted to 201 million Euros, showing a gross working profit of about 14 million Euros and a net operating result of about 1 million Euros, the first time the company has been in the black for 3 years.
With a turnover of more than 500 million Euros and 3,000 employees the Vicenza-based company is a global player in its specific market areas. Today the company announced that it had signed a joint venture with the Chinese Group Chen for the production and commercialisation of industrial stationary batteries. This initiative follows hard on the heels of the joint venture set up in India for the production of acoustic warning devices for cars and motorbikes.

The Fiamm Group is focusing on its major automotive and telecommunications customers, concentrating its efforts on its core businesses of starter batteries, stationary batteries and horns for cars and motorbikes.
